The coat of arms of Bedenica is "Azure a daffodil proper issuant from the base with two leaves vert and in chief dexter a mullet or and in chief sinister a crescent argent".
A daffodil, or narcissus, was chosen as namesake of the municipality. Although this flower is otherwise known in Croatian as sunovrat or narcis, bedenica is its local name in northern Croatia and also in Slovenia; the Latin name of this particular species is Narcissus poeticus, bijeli narcis in Croatian). The explanation of the elements of the coat of arms provided for the Municipal Assembly recounts how the flower is associated with infernal rituals (due to its connection with narcosis) and the cult of Demetra or Eleusine, and how it is usual to plant these flowers on graves symbolizing "the stiffness of death that might be only a dream". As the flower raises in spring on moist places, it is also connected with water symbolic and the rhythm of seasons, therefore with the symbolic of fertility - providing interesting ambiguity: death - dream - new life.
As the Bedenica parish is dedicated to All Saints, the choice of the daffodil is even more appropriate. The star and crescent that fill up the Coat of Arms "annotate the firmaments where these saints reside". The star and crescent are frequent element in various Croatian coat of arms - State, civic, ecclesiatic and family coat of arms.

The municipal website showed a proposal for the coat of arms, "Azure on a mount vert a fortified church with a belfry argent roofed gules and in sinister a bridge argent under which is flowing in bendwise sinister wavy over the mount a creek azure".
The church shown is the All Saints church, originating from the 13th century and heavily fortified in the 18th century. The creek is also named Bedenica.
