The flag of Gennes-Val-de-Loire (photo) is white with the municipal logo.
The logo represents "gentle way of life" on a territory watered by river Loire (3 out of 5 [at the time] former municipalities are located on the river), but also economic and tourist dynamism.
The Loire is symbolized by the two smooth waves, represented in two shades of blue.
The natural environment is represented by an hyphen shaped like a green life, while dynamism is represented by ascending curves.
Modern, sans serif fonts (ITC Avant Garde Gothic family) are appropriate for an institutional logo deemed legible, serious and attractive.
