Flag of CC de Mimizan - left, current with 2013 logo; center, 2005 version; right, 1999 version - Images by Olivier Touzeau, 13 May 2022

Created with 4 communes (Mimizan, Aureilhan, Pontenx-les-Forges, Saint-Paul-en-Born) on december 31, 1999, the communauté de communes de Mimizan grew in decembre 2001 with the commune of Bias and in january 2013 with the commune of Mézos. Before 1999, Mimizan, Aureilhan, Pontenx-les-Forges, Saint-Paul-en-Born and Bias cooperated in a "district".

The flag is white with logo, and the logo was modified several times:

  • 5 pine needles in 1999, as on the former district logo, although there were only 4 communes until 2001
  • modernization with new font in 2005
  • addition of a 6th pine needle in 2013
  • modernization in 2015 with a square shape of the field and white colour of the needles on the coloured background (no flag observed with this version)
