The flag of Théoule-sur-Mer (photo) is white with the municipal coat of arms in the center.
The arms are composed of a classic shield surmounted with a mural crown, bearing in the center a vertical stripe in the colors of Provence (red and golden yellow) superimposed with a "T", for "Théoule". The quarters azure feature:
- The statue of St. Germana, the town's patron saint.
- A lionfish that symbolizes the sea and represents fishing.
- A branch of mimosa, which streams in golden rain on the neighnoring hills.
- The Battery Tower, a famous monument which has been reconstructed at the end of port's wharf to host the lighthouse.
"Théou-Oulé corresponds to one of the many proposed etymologies of Théoule, refering to the Greek words "oulé", "a wood", and "theos", "consecrated to the divinity".
