Presentation of Bellerive-sur-Allier

The municipality of Bellerive-sur-Allier (8,741 inhabitants in 2019; 1,897 ha) is located 5 km south-west of Vichy. Formerly known as Vesse or Vaisse, the municipality was renamed in 1903 to Bellerive-sur-Allier in 1903, for belle rive, "a beautiful riverside".
