Symbols of Rielves

The flag of Rielves is prescribed by an Order issued on 21 April 1995 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 5 May 1995 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 23, p. 2,867 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3; green with a white diagonal stripe running from the hoist's upper angle of the fly's lower angle.

The flag in use (photo) appears to be charged with the municipal coat of arms.

The coat of arms of Rielves is prescribed by an Order issued on 21 April 1995 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 5 May 1995 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 23, p. 2,867 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Vert a bend argent cantonned by a fountain of the same and a garb of three wheat spikes or. The shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown.

The Royal Academy of History validated the proposed arms. The bend represents the important road that connects Toledo to Extremadura via Relves. The fountain recalls the Roman baths; its representation, not recognizable, has to be substituted by its traditional representation.
The Academy approved the proposed flag "without any inconvenience".
