Description

Red flag scattered with white greek crosses, each with arms as wide as 1/16 and as long as 3/16 of the flag's height, with five complete crosses showing on both the top and the bottom of the flag. Horizontally across the middle, a blue wavy stripe as wide as 1/4 of the flag's height, showing three full crests and two half crests.

The flag is a banner of the arms (blazoned Gules, crusily Argent, debruised by a fess wavy Azure). The red field with crosses is the arms of the Cruïlles family, marquises of Castell de Torrent, and the blue wavy stripe is canting (torrent means, as in English, a mountain stream). Flag adopted 6th April 1999. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
