The flag of Bulán is a horizontal bicolor of white over dark green. There is a variant with the coat of arms centered upon it.

The coat of arms depicts the sun shining, clouds, rolling hills with a stream cutting across the land, trees, the local Catholic church,
a man tending to his cattle, an Ecuadorian hat, maracas. the soil, and a variety of crops. Above the shield is a ribbon with the flag's colors
and the parish's name. Surrounding the shield is what appears to be a laurel.
