The company Orion Rederierne A/S was based in København, later at least since 2003 in Søborg. The flag is white with a big red "O" in the middle and a blue vertical stripe placed along the hoist, charged with a representation of the constellation of Orion in white. Orion was a giant hunter, who offended the goddess Artemis. As a punishment, she killed him and changed him into a constellation. The three stars placed in diagonal in the middle of the constellation are known as Orion´s Belt (see right image above).

The company was founded in 1912 and for many years managed by C.P. Jensen, Amaliegade in København. Three steamships were owned by the company. From the time of sale of the last ship the company "led a quiet life" up until 1986. It was then taken over in 1989 by a group of young businessmen, who changed the name to Orion Ltd.. The company invested in a line of companies, and employed at a time some 700 people. In 2007 Dampskibselakb Orion A/S was nearly completely acquired by Camillo Eitzen & Co ASA (Eitzen Group]). The parent company D/S Orion A/S was a shipping company and ran the administration.

The company was based in København. It was a red flag with white disk and red swastika. I guess this is an overseas company, trading (f.i.) in India.

Othello´s tanker fleet counts seventeen ships: eleven of them are operated by Rotterdam based Unigas, three by Unigas Kosan (Hong Kong), and three by Maersk. Crewing and maintenance on the other hand are taken care of by Bernhard Schulte (Cyprus) and Star Management (Japan). The "Fleet" page (upper menu) presents the various ships most of which are registered in the Isle of Man or Singapore: seehere.
The house flag is divided quarterly white (top, bottom) and red (hoist, fly) and a double black ring in the centre representing the initial "O". The point, where the four triangles meet, remains hidden.
