Coat of arms

Description of coat of arms:
In the green chief are two golden (= yellow) ears of grain. The main field is five times divided per fess into silver (= white) and blue. The sinister half shows the colours countercharged. The whole is superimposed by a golden (= yellow) upright anchor.
The grain is symbolizing agriculture. The anchor is symbolizing fishery, shipping and harbour. The silver white fesses are taken from the arms of the Erlandson family. They are reminding at the fact, that Jacob Erlandson, Archbishop of Lund was given a sanctuary in this place, after he had been disgraced by the Danish king.
