Neustetten Coat of Arms

Shield Gules; a chevron Argent, flanked by three 6-point stars Or; chief Or, charged with an oath staff Sable in fess.
Meaning:
The oath staff has an oath hand (see e.g. here) at its top. The staff had been part of the local regalia as "Remmingheimer Stäble", a court district, to which all former municipalities of Neustetten belonged from 1620 to 1808. The staff was also part of the arms of former Remmingsheim and Wolfenhausen municipality. The stars are also taken from the arms of Remmingsheim, however with different tinctures. The chevron is taken from the arms of former Nellingsheim municipality. The three communes were united on 1 December 1971 .
