Bruck Coat of Arms

Shield Azure; issuant from a base of waves Argent a wooden bridge Or; on bridge a lion passant Or, crowned, armed and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The first seal, known by prints from 1508, already displayed the canting bridge (German: Brücke) and the Palatine lion, symbolising the rule of the Wittelsbach kin. Three later seals, from the 16th century, from around 1590 and from 1684, displayed the current pattern including all details. Also literature from the 19th century matched the pattern. Only Philipp Apian and Otto Hupp displayed the lion as sinister facing without crown. The tinctures varied in literature.
