Salzatal Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Argent two grapevines Azure leafed Vert, beneath Azure an anchor Argent, flanked by two triplets of grain ears Or in fan.
Meaning:
The grapevines are symbolising viticulture, the grain ears agriculture and the anchor shipping on River Saale, not on the name giving River Salza, which is too narrow for shipping.

Klaus-Michael Schneider, 5 June 2019

The arms were approved on 17 May 2010 by the county administration.
