Barbing Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules a bend Argent, at sinister Argent a fess Azure embattled at its top.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the arms of the Bishopric of Regensburg, to which the village historically belonged. The sinister half displays the arms of the Lords of Barbing, who lived in the village since 1130. After they had died out, Barbing castle was acquired by the bishopric in 1463.
