Reichenschwand Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure a bend wavy Argent, at sinister Or a swan Argent beaked Gules without feet, chief bendy of six of Gules and Argent.
Meaning:
The chief displays the sinister half of the lesser arms of the Free Imperial City of Nürnberg, to which the village historically belonged. The other quarters are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Furtenbach, who had close relationships to the village between 1531 and 1803. They renamed themselves Lords of Reichenschwand since 1603. They built the local castle, the church and the vicarage.
