Description

Braunsbedra, 7,000 inhabitants, is in Merseburg-Querfurt county, got city rights and a banner in 1993. The banner is striped green-white-green-white-green-white-green such that the two inner white stripes are wider than the outer ones (four times wider according to the official description, two times wider in actual use), and the arms are surrounded by a thick white border.
