Nüdlingen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a sword Or and an arrow Or in saltire, over all a mitre Argent.
Meaning:
The village was acquired by the Bishopric of Würzburg in 1394. The tinctures red and silver and the mitre are referring to the bishopric. The pattern was used on local seals until the end of the 18th century and was forgotten later. The sword is referring to a local court of justice. The meaning of the arrow is unkonown.

The arms were approved in 1570 by Bishop Friedrich of Wirsberg (1558 - 1573) The banner was approved and the arms were confirmed on 16 September 1963 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
