Walzbachtal Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules an oak branch Or with one acorn and two leaves, at sinister Azure, a sinister throughout faceted demi cross Argent, couped per pale.
Meaning:
Walzbachtal, located in the valley of the Walzbach, a creek, was established in 1971 by a merger of Jöhlingen and Wössingen. The oak branch is taken from the Wössingen arms, adopted in 1901 and based on alocal symbol from the 18th century. The tinctures are those of Baden. The Baden arms had been the dexter half of the arms of Wössingen, adopted in 1911. The demi cross is a modification of the arms of the Bishopric of Speyer, to which Jöhlingen and a part of Wössingen belonged.
