Wiesenbach Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, in base a bar wavy Argent, above an impending, serifed initial Sable "W".
The village was a dominion of the Palatine Electorate from the 14th century until 1802. Until 1737 there didn't exist any local seals. The court seal from the late 18th century displayed a bar wavy and a tree. Seals from the 19th century also displayed the bar wavy, but with impending initials "WB" and surrounding branches. The arms are derived from this seal and are considered to be canting, as the bar wavy is representing a creek (German: Bach), the initial is belonging to "Wiese" (= meadow). And the colours Green (meadow) and white (creek) are also considered to be canting.

The arms were adopted in 1900 by the municipality. The banner was approved on 19 June 1970 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 800/1970.
