Meaning:
After 1916 the municipalities used arms, displaying a house and one tree with a canton Argent. House and tree were symbolising a farm (German: Hof) and were considered to be canting. The canton was taken from the arms of the Counts of Aichelberg. The municipality adopted the current pattern in 1959.
