It is a red-white-red vertical triband with ratio of stripes approx. 1:4:1. The coat of arms is shifted to the top within the central stripe.

Shield Gules, a horseshoe Argent pointing downwards.
The horseshoe appeared first on the local court seal of 1546 and is probably used longer as a local symbol of the village (German: Gemerke).
The arms were officially approved in 1926.
