Umkirch Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, St. Mary crowned Or, dressed Argent and holding Jesus Christ by her right arm and a sceptre fleury Or by her left hand, standing on a crescent recumbent Or.
Meaning:
St. Mary is patron saint of the local parish church. The first municipal seal from 1831 already displayed her. The tinctures were fixed in 1898.
