Schallstadt Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess; above parted per pale, at dexter Azure a horseshoe Argent; at sinister Or a grapevine Azure leafed Vert; beneath Argent a wolf passant Sable on a triplemount Vert issuant from base.
Meaning:
Schallstadt-Wolfenweiler was established on 1 January 1971 by a merger of both municipalties. On 1 January 1975 Mengen was incorporated. The augmented municipality was renamed on 1 November 1977 to Schallstadt. The horseshoe is representing Mengen, the grapevine Schallstadt proper and the wolf Wolfweiler.
