Türkenfeld Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a pale chequered of Argent and Gules, at dexter Sable two maces Or in saltire, at sinister Argent three linden leaves Azure connected by an embowed stem.
Meaning:
The Cistercian chequered pale is representing Fürstenfeld Abbey, which owned large estates in the village.The maces ar taken from the arms of the Lords of Türkenfeld, first mentioned in the 12th century. The gave their possessions partially to the abbey in the 14th century. The leaves are taken from the arms of the Stauding kin, local ruler from 1569 until 1598.
