Landsberied Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a bar chequered of Argent and Gules, at dexter Azure a wing Or, at sinister Argent three heraldic roses Gules seeded Or.
Meaning:
The chequered pale is alluding to the Cistercian Fürstenfeld Abbey, local ruler of the village until 1803. It is also symbolising the Roman road from Augsburg to Salzburg. Wing and roses are taken from the arms of the Benedictine Weihenstefan Abbey in Freising, which owned large estates in the village. The tinctures white and blue are those of Bayern and the Wittelsbach kin.
