Kirchgandern Coat of Arms

The shield is blue, displaying a silver goose volant, issuant from its neck a silver barrulet, on its breast a red inescutcheon, charged with a silver 6-spokes wheel.
The male goose (German: Ganter) is a canting element. The inescutcheon is alluding to the Archbishops of Mainz, the former rulers.
