Hundeshagen Coat of Arms

The red shield is divided by a golden chevron, above right is a silver 6-spokes wheel. Above left is a silver harp stringed black. Beneath are three silver bells lined black and ordered 1:2.
The harp is representing the numerous choirs and orchestras in the municipality in the past, especially the village was famous for its harp orchestras. It is also alluding to the production of musical instruments. Former seals displayed a violin, crossed with a trumpet and a flute. Chevron and bells are representing an open belfry, separated from the local church. The wheel is representing the Archbishops of Mainz, the former rulers.
