Litzendorf Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or a lion rampant Sable armed Or and superimposed by a bendlet Argent, at sinister Azure a helmet Argent with nose-piece, a protector, of the same.
Meaning:
The lion is representing the Bishopric of Bamberg, to which the village historically belonged. The helmet is representing the bishop's local vassals, the Lords of Litzendorf.
