Shield Azure, on top of a mount issuant Vert a 2-level tower Argent masoned Sable.
Meaning:
The tower house in the arms is depicted on a fresco of the local chapel dedicated to St. Leonard. The fresco disappeared in 1838. The tower is reminding on its inhabitants, the Barons of Erringen, whose ancestral seat was the tower in the 12th and 13th century. They are mentioned several times as commissionaires of the Bishopric of Augsburg since 1125. Around 1300 they quit their fiefdom. The estate was acquired by the Chapter of Augsburg in 1460. The name of the village had been Erringen until the 17th century, when the prefix "Lang" was added as a distinguishing mark.

Banner and arms were approved on 11 July 1838 by King Ludwig I of Bayern. The banner in Bavarian colours white and blue had been never approved officially.
