Meaning:
Above is an image of the local pilgrimage church of the Holy Cross. It is the most important building, constructed by Valerian Brenner (1652 - 1715) on behalf of the Bishop of Augsburg. The construction began in 1684 and ended in 1694. Beaver and creek, symbolised by a bend wavy, are together canting. In the original arms the beaver had been golden, since 1949 he is black.
