Petersaurach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Vert, a fess Argent, over all a key Or in bend, at sinister parted per fess of Or and Gules, two morions in couterchanged colours.
Meaning:
The key is taken from the arms of the former Petersaurach Municipality and is an attribute of St. Peter, the local paton saint. The white fess in green had been the family arms of the Lords of Vestenberg. The morions are taken from the arms of the former Großhaßlach Municipality and are alluding to the Counts of Oettingen.
