The logo-like emblem shows on a white background four elements: the blue waves of the Verzasca river, the well-known Ponte dei salti bridge in red, a black chamois and the green woody slopes forming a V.

The Verzasca commune was created on 18 October 2020 by the merger of Brione, Corippo, Frasco, Lavertezzo Valle, Sognono and Vogorno (see below).

Lavertezzo Valle (Fraction of Lavertezzo) (until 17 October 2020)

Azure a pelican in her piety argent voulned gules.

The commune of Lavertezzo has taken over parts of the arms of the Bishop Aurelio Bacciardini, the pelican in her piety.

On 18 October 2020 Lavertezzo Valle, until then a fraction of Lavertezzo, formed with other communes the new commune of Verzasca. The remaining fraction of Riazzino builds now solely the Lavertezzo commune.
