Horizontally divided, upper two-thirds red over lower third blue and white waves, with a white tower and a man holding a feather (see below).

The municipality was created on 1 January 1996 by merger of Hauptwil and Gottshaus. The flag is a merger of the old flag motivs,
added with waves symbolizing the reservoir lakes of Hauptwil.
