The coat of arms of Catanduvas is prescribed by Municipal Law No. 177 promulgated on 3 August 1971.

Article 1.
The municipal coat of arms of Catanduvas shall have the following characteristics.
In the lower part date "16/3/63", the date of inauguration of the municipality of Catanduvas. Above it a yellow rectangle with "CATANDUVAS", the municipality's name, in blue letters. The rectangle surrounded on each side by a five-leaved branch, symbolizing agriculture in the municipality supporting a geometric figure symbolizing a mate calabash gourd, charged in base with a factory with a chimney, symbolizing industry, above it in the right the symbol of commerce and in the right by logs representing timber extraction, above them in the right Brazilian pines symbolizing forest resources and in the left a bovine's head symbolizing cattle-breeding. Atop the geometric figure a five-towered crown symbolizing a town or a community.
