The flag is a horizontal tricolor, flag green (i.e., the same green as in the Brazilian national flag), white, and royal blue, with the municipal coat of arms on the center of the white stripe. The coat of arms is yellow with the heraldic symbol of the shoe industry (a skin, hammer, and awl), having at the top a fess with the words "FÉ, DIGNIDADE E TRABALHO (Faith, dignity, and work)." The shield is flanked by branches of rice and wheat. Above it, a crown symbolizes the faith that rules over the municipality. The scroll is inscribed with the name of the municipality and the dates of its creation and its attainment of municipal independence.
