Description of arms (German): Auf grünem, von einem Bach durchflossenen Berg in Blau eine Burg, aus der der hl. Andreas mit grünem Kleide und rotem Mantel, links ein Buch, rechts das Kreuz haltend, hervorwächst. [1] [2]
Blazoning of arms (English): Azure, on a green mount charged with a bar wavy Argent, a castle (Argent, roofed Gules), issuant thereof Saint Andrew vested Vert, coated Gules, holding in his sinister a book, in his dexter a saltire (Or).
Adoption date of arms: 3 April 1929 (based on the historical arms first attested 1592)
