About the district

The District of Guaminí (3054 inhabitants in 2022) is in the west-central part of Buenos Aires Province.

The town's name comes from the original Mapudungun name that the local inhabitants gave to the island in Laguna del Monte.

Description of the flag

The flag is white with an emblem described as the coat of arms, although the municipality is using various seal-like logos at least 15 years back.
