This is the other club showing the Barnegat Light on its burgee, the first being the Barnegat Inlet Yacht Club. The Barnegat Light Yacht Club is not actually from Barnegat Light, though it is on Long Beach Island. But rather, it's from slightly farther south in Harvey Cedars. When the club was founded, in 1928, there was no location called "Barnegat Light". The city as it is now, was indeed called "Barnegat City", and it was only in 1948 before that added to the confusion. The club as it is now was then called the "High Point Yacht Club". As there is a location called "High Point" in North Carolina, this became a problem when they tried to join the North American Racing Association [So far, I'm uncertain whether there was an actual club, there.] So, the club renamed themselves to "Barnegat Light Yacht Club".

At some
point in the past, the club created this wonderful logo
(https://sail-clubs.com/el/i/1699/United-States/New-Jersey/Harvey-Cedars/Sailing-Yacht-Club/Barnegat-Light-Yacht-Club).
Note that it is somewhat different from the current burgee.
Current
burgee:
Blue abstract light house on a background of crossing white and
orange bundles of light from the hoist corners crossing.
