Mary Washington College is now the University of Mary Washington. The name change took effect 1 July 2004 and there is a photo of its new flag being ceremonially raised that day at www.umw.edu/university/default.php. The flag is purple or dark blue (in the photo it appears more purple to me, but since the school's web pages seem to show the logo in dark blue and white I suspect the photo coloring may be misleading) and has the university logo - the words UNIVERSITY OF MARY WASHINGTON in white uppercase letters, and a white set of columns from one of the university buildings.
