Description of the flag

The flag is a blue field with the state outline of North Carolina in the center. A white star points to Brookfords location in the state. Above the star is the town hall, with the U.S. and North Carolina flags crossed over each other. surrounding the townhall are the town's name and incorporation date, as well as the state name, though they're tilted counterclockwise by about 30 degrees.
