Description of the flag

The village of White Pigeon held a flag design contest in June 2025. Twelve entries were received, and the winning flag designed by council trustee Daniel Carr was adopted and revealed in July 2025. The flag includes the name and a drawing of Wahbememe, a Potawatomi village chief who saved the European settlement in the late 1820s by warning it of an attack. The village’s name is an English translation of “Wahbememe.”
