Description of the flag

The flag is a blue field with a a bottom white stripe in the shape of a fence. In the main field are 7 unequal rows of 11 black birds. The 9th bird in the 2nd row was replaced with a plane. Overlying the birds is a crest with the top of the crest being inscribed with the neighborhood's name and establishment date. The lower portions of the crest is in red. A smaller crest displays a white and black heraldic horse on a white shield with black vertical lines. At the bottom of the crest is a white banner inscribed with Gaithersburg, the neighborhood's parent municipality, with the state name next to it.
