Description of the flag

The official description for the flag of the town of Liberty, Indiana, is in the municipal code.

Liberty is a town in, and the county seat of Union County, and has exactly 2,000 people as of the 2020 census.

§ 11.02 OFFICIAL FLAG.

(A) The County Development Corporation has held a contest for the design of a flag suitable to become the official flag of the town.

(B) A flag and banner have been constructed from royal blue and gold fabric with a statue of the town’s Lady Liberty.

(C) The County Development Corporation wished the above described flag as the official flag of the town for display at the Town Council meeting place.

(D) The Town Council adopted this flag as the official flag of Liberty.
