The former municipality of Kuzuluk (5,835 inhabitants in 2007) is located 10 km of Akyazı.
The flag of Kuzuluk was white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality". The emblem features a spring, representing Kuzukuk Spa, the largest and most important spa in Sakarya Province.
