Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a tree eradicated Vert, surrounded by a wreath Vert of flax blossoms Azure and corn cobs Gules leafed Vert, Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and long white scroll, as often used by united communes, reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE CEDRIM E PARADELA".
Meaning:
The tree is representing the former Paradela Commune, the plants the former Cedric Commune. The base wavy is a representation of the Vouga River, bordering Paradela.

Cedrim e Paradela is one of the two communes of Sever do Vouga Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 1355 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 18,37 km².

Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard-Guedes style, with inscription in black capitals "CEDRIM".

Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, two eradicated trees Vert ordered per fess, in chief a fleur-de-lis Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PARADELA - SEVER DO VOUGA".
Meaning:
The base wavy is probably representing Vouga River. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Loreto, the local patron saint.
