It is a fairly typical Portuguese municipal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a quartered field yellow over blue.

On a black field, two crossed golden fruited olive branches tied with a red ribbon, in chief three golden bees and below silver - blue -silver - blue waves, 4 silver tower mural crown and a white scroll with the words in black "VILA DE PAMPILHOSA DA SERRA".

if you ever come to Portugal by train from Paris (or somewhere along the way) and have waited excruciating long for a ridiculously unnecessary railroad operation in a place called Pampilhosa, this is not the one (that one belongs to Mealhada municipality).

The municipal government uses also an unofficial “logo on bedsheet” type of flag, based on the official flag and arms.
