Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, semy of herbage Vert, over all two swords Gules in saltire hilted Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "ERVAS TENRAS".
Meaning:
The herbage (Port.: ervas) are canting. The commune's name means "fresh herbage", thus the green colour.

Ervas Tenras was one of the pre-2013 communes of Pinhel Municipality; it had 142 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 4,9 km².

Meaning:
The commune´s name is derived from cereja (= cherry). The tree is thus canting.
