Shield Argent a fig tree Vert fruited Purpure, flanked on chief by a cross patty Gules charged with a Greek cross Argent, and on base by plough Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "LAGARES E FIGUEIRA".
Meaning:
The canting fig tree is taken from the arms the former Figueira Commune, the cross of the Order of the Knights of Christ and the plough from those of the former Lagares Commune.
