Coat of Arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, issuant from base a bend sinister Sable, masoned Argent and charged with three scallops Or, on dexter chief a lyre Gules stringed Sable, on sinister base a horseshoe Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE DESTRIZ E REIGOSO".
Meaning:
The base wavy is a representation of the Carregal River and the Alfusqueiro River. The horseshoe stands for the former Destriz Commune, all other charges for the former Reigoso Commune.

Presentation of Destriz e Reigoso

Destriz e Reigoso is one of the three communes of Oliveira de Frades Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 587 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 22.76 km².

Shield Argent, in base a doublemount Sable semy of horse shoes Argent above a base wavy of Argent and Azure, in chief three vine leaves Vert set in fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading "DESTRIZ" in black upper case letters.
Meaning:
There is a local geomonument named Horseshoe Painted Stone (Pedra das Ferraduras Pintadas), which is depicted on the arms. Look here!
