No Flag

It appears Choix does not use a municipal flag.

Coat of Arms

The coat of arms of Choix was decreed by the council on 15 September 1987, being designed by Héctor Armando Hernández. The border is red, bearing on the left side a corn plant for agriculture and a crossed pick and shovel for mining; to the right, a tree for the environment and head of cattle for the cattle-raising industry. At the bottom are the words San Ignacio de Choix, the full name. At the top is an eagle eating a serpent by cacti leaves bearing fruit representing the Nationality holding a scroll reading CHOIX 1917, when its first Municipal Council was received. In the center of the inner section is a map of the municipality with six churches for the six missions founded in the area, plus footprints for the Indians that made pilgrimages through here. Below, the sun shines as a reminder of its history.
